After completing Biomedical Engineering, I worked in a chemical engineering lab under Neil Thomas Stacey. The lab work was a mix of chemical, biomedical, and electrical engineering with the goal of publishing a few papers so that me and my friends could apply for Masters programmes with some research under our belts.
